<description>I attempted to follow these instructions but they seem to leave out a few key items. First, you are unable to install the management studio tool on a Citrix Xenapp 6 server. It says compatibility issues exist. No biggie, I installed on the non-Citrix server I am going to be using to host the data store and connected remotely and backup the MF20 database. So the next step it to create a new database store. I&#039;m unfamiliar with SQL and SQL express grant you but I am unable to create a new database using the Management Studio Tool. It does not see any local database instances. All services are running, etc. Is this supposed to be common knowledge? I looked up the issue and it seems I need to configure multiple pieces of SQL server to enable it to connect and create a new database. My goal is to try to make a recovery of my Xenapp 6 datastore easier and quicker. Should I just leave my datastore on the first Xenapp 6 server in the farm? What if this server fails. I have the datastore but where do I put it? I&#039;m guessing just installing SQL on a different Citrix server will cause me the same headaches with creating a local datastore. There seems to be little to no info about Xenapp 6 available other than the basic e-docs. Frustrating.</description>
